v  # 5 tenses We Frequently Use

1.      Present Tense : Digunakan untuk menyatakan kejadian yang rutin terjadi atau fakta-fakta umum.

Rumus       : (+) S + V1 (s/es)

                    (-) S + do/does + not + V1

                    (?) Do/does + S +V1

“Do” digunakan untuk : (I, you, they, we)

“Does” di gunakan untuk : (she, it, he)

Example    : (+)They go to campus by bus

                     (-) They don’t go to campus by bus

                     (?) Do they goes to campus by bus?

2.      Simple past tense : Menyatakan kalimat masa lampau

Rumus       : (+) S + V2

                    (-) S + didn’t + V1

                    (?) Did + S + V1

“I, you, they, we, she, he,  it” menggunakan kata kerja ke 2 pada kalimat positif.

Example : (+) you closed the door

                  (-) you didn’t close the door

                  (?) Did you close the door?

3.      Present / Past Continious Tense : menyatakan kejadian yang berlangsung

Rumus       : (+) S + be + Ving

                                      (-) S + be + not + Ving

4.      Future tense : Menyatakan suatu perbuatan atau peristiwa yang terjadi pada waktu yang akan datang.

Rumus       : (+) S + Will + V1

Example :  (+)Jul will get married in 2023

                  (-)  Jul won’t get married in 2023

5.      Perfect Tense

Rumus       : (+) S + has / have + V3

                    (-)  S + has / have + not + V3

                    (?) Has / have + S + V3

Untuk “have” : I, you, they, we

Untuk “has” : She, he, it

Example : (+) I have eaten

5.      5. The Dog (run) through the park (simple past)

(+) The Dog ran through the park

(-) The Dog didn’t run through the park
